Shelby Ross Art

Shelby started her "pet" project, (pun intended), A Girl & Her Dog Custom Pet Portraits, following the unexpected and devastating loss of her long-time partner in crime, her Great Dane, the Great Leviathan, Hudson Hornet Ross.  After making the first 3D POP portrait of Hudson as part of her own grieving-process, she ended up making another 3D POP portrait for a close friend who also had recently lost their beloved fur-baby. The outside response was greater than she had expected, and after numerous requests she decided to open a sub-genre of her art on a commission basis.  She finds great enjoyment in creating custom pieces of people's pets, (fury, scaly, feathery, and the like), and considers each portrait a labor of great love.  She welcomes emails regarding commissions, and even just fun/heartwarming/hilarious stories about your beloved friends ("pets").
